how to cure inaction & guarantee your success

Eliminating Inaction & Achieving Success
Success and Beyond: Letter of Progression #1
Jan 8th, 2024

A little over a year ago, I thought about starting an online content creation business, like the one I’m currently running.

I read 4 business books over the span of 2 weeks. Yeah, I was that motivated to do this shit.

But after those 2 weeks… came nothing. I didn’t start any business. I didn’t even make a social media account for it.

Why?

Well, it felt like something stopped me from chasing this goal of mine. I didn’t admit it then, but in retrospect, it’s clear that I was scared of failure.

I didn’t start, because I worried about a future in which my business would fail, and that I’d have to reconsider my choices, having to spend the rest of my life working a 9-5 instead.

I was scared of crushing my dreams of making a living doing what I love. So, I kept postponing the inevitable decision to start that goddamn business.

Fear -> Inaction -> The real killer of dreams

But here I am a year later, enjoying the journey of growing my business and realizing that old dream of mine.

So, how did I overcome inaction?

I’m glad you asked (or even if you didn’t, ‘cause I’m going to tell you the answer anyway).

For starters, the fear of inaction stems from a negative self-belief that you might not be able to achieve a goal.

This causes you to not take action, to prevent the risk of your ego being damaged as a result of your possible failure.

Yesterday, while hosting a Discord Stage Event on Psych2Go’s official server, I was asked a question very similar to this problem.

Here’s what I told him.

If you feel like things you want to achieve will not happen, THEY WON’T.

But if you KNOW that your goals will be achieved no matter what happens, THEY WILL.

It’s as simple as that.

What I needed to know a year ago, was that it’s not about IF I’d succeed, but rather WHEN I was going to succeed.

Believing in the fact that YOU WILL succeed and reach your dreams is key.

And it may seem difficult to just blindly believe, but the truth is if you:

  • Do the work

  • Learn how to get better at it

  • Fail, and learn what not to do

  • Do the work, but a little better this time

You WILL inevitably reach success. The above checklist is the basic goal-seeking protocol present in most animals, including humans.

Now this is cool and all, but I know some of you will still find it hard to trust the process.

You might be thinking,

“Cool, but what if this method doesn’t work for me because of <insert reason/excuse that makes no sense if you think about it>?”

or “Yeah, but why do so many people find it difficult to achieve success then?”

Let me hit two birds with one stone, or maybe even more birds while we’re at it.

The answer to these two main objections is that… our self-images influence our successes and destinies FAR more than we think.

This reminds me of a lyric from NF’s The Search:

♫ Just think about it for a second, if you look at your face
Every day when you get up and think you'll never be great
You'll never be great, not because you're not, but the hate
Will always find a way to cut you up and murder your faith (woo!) ♫

And that’s true. Our minds love conformity, and so, they keep us stuck in our self-images and beliefs.

If we believe success is hard for us, we won’t achieve success, simply because our minds and self-images will ensure we remain in conformity with those beliefs.

And that’s why, you must have an UNDYING CONVICTION that YOU WILL SUCCEED no matter what.

Now once again, it’s easy to say this, but you will inevitably find your mind doubting these claims and beliefs at some point or another.

And this is where the most important tool in my arsenal, mind disidentification, comes into play.

You must realize this one thing. You don’t think ANY OF YOUR THOUGHTS.

This might come as a shocker, but it’s been scientifically proven.

For some, this revelation is paired with a feeling of extreme unease. They feel like they’re dying.

This is because for them (I say them, but this is true for most of the human population), their sense of self is strongly tied to their thoughts and emotions.

So, saying they aren’t what they thought they were, literally kills their perception of themselves.

Once the feeling of unease passes, comes a strong sense of freedom.

You aren’t your thoughts, and so, whatever your mind thinks doesn’t matter whatso-fucking-ever.

Now that you’re free from your thoughts, you can have an undying conviction that you’ll succeed, without even saying in your head that you believe in yourself (because YOU can’t, only your mind can).

Now, couple this with a method I use to eliminate fear and other negative thoughts at will, and you have a system to eliminate all fear of inaction.

Last year, whenever I’d even think (or should I say, my mind would think) about creating a social media account for my business, a strong wave of fear, along with thoughts and projections of an inevitable business failure, would keep me from taking any action.

But now, I’ve learned to dissolve all my thoughts (through mind disidentification), and my negative emotions (through another variation of mind disidentification).

So, nothing stopped me from starting this business a couple of weeks ago.

That is how I killed my inaction problem and began freely chasing this long-time dream of mine.

You might be wondering what the other variation of disidentification that allowed me to dissolve negative emotions at will was.

Buy my latest course for $127 if you wish to know… Just kidding, I learned this method from the book The Power of Now.

Here is a paragraph from the book that explains the exact method.

The pain-body is a collection of negative emotions built up over a long period.

When you eliminate a powerful pain-body, you experience this MAGICAL feeling of liberation, peace, and oneness.

It feels great, and I highly recommend the method, since it’s literally a superpower.

But yeah, that’s about it.

I hope this letter helped you greatly, and stay tuned for next week's letter.

Kishore out!
